Hilary Moshman, MPH, NTP
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP)
After earning a B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University in Atlanta, I became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) through the Nutritional Therapy Association based in Olympia, WA. Through Inneractive Healing Systems, I then studied The Art of Muscle Testing with John Tjenos and Alia Swersky in Seattle. I am also a Traditional Foods Cook through studying with Monica Corrado of Simply Being Well in Colorado.
A little bit of my story:
For 20 years, I struggled with moderate to severe chronic major depression. At the beginning of my freshman year at college, my depression, chronic fatigue, brain fog and inability to focus became too much to handle. I started taking anti-depressants. Although these drugs have serious side effects, and do not cure or eliminate depression, it was the only option of which I, and the medical establishment, knew. And I am grateful for at least having the medication to get me through college and graduate school, as depressed as I still was.
However, I eventually learned that there is indeed a cure to mental illness. The causes of depression are known and mental illness is curable. Through simply balancing my minerals and mineral ratios in a matter of a few weeks, I cured an illness that the medical establishment says is incurable, an illness that was not going to disappear on its own. My chronic fatigue is now significantly improved too, and continues to improve. Now I don’t have to feel depressed, lifeless and empty my whole life! I have also quit my anti-depressants with practically no side effects. This is a major life accomplishment.
Through my own research and talking to others, I have learned that many illnesses can be cured, or put into remission in the case of autoimmune diseases, through diet. Such illnesses include ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, autism, and Multiple Sclerosis. Now I want to share what I learned so others don’t have to struggle needlessly with mental or physical illness for so many years like I did. Now I seek to assist others to heal themselves through a nourishing diet, appropriate supplements and a healthy lifestyle. I believe we all have the inherent ability to live vibrant joyful lives!
